ZEOLITE FOOD ADDITIVES IN PETS
 
  Zeolite binds harmful substances in a short time (4-6 hours) and is eliminated from the body through urine, sweat and feces. The ion exchange principle allows the zeolite to selectively absorb from the body mercury, arsenic, cadmium, strontium, chromium, lead, aluminum, ammonia, radioactive substances, UV radiation, components of viruses and other harmful substances, all of which are positively charged. It should be noted that, among other toxins, zeolite binds mycotoxins - fungal toxins, the most damaging of which are aflatoxins (B1, B2, G1, G2).
   Zeolite absorbs about 90% of aflatoxins and up to 30-50% of others such as ochratoxins, trinotechenes, zearalenone, fuminosine. Regular use of zeolite in animal nutrition helps prevent mold growth and thus prevents the formation of toxins.
 Zeolite is the most powerful antioxidant because it neutralizes the effects of free radicals caused by stress, pollution, radiation and malnutrition. Free radicals are unstable molecules that easily react with other molecules by taking their electrons and damage healthy cells. The DNA chain breaks and can cause cell death. The consequences of this are various diseases: cancers, heart diseases and blood vessel diseases, liver diseases, weakening of bones. Zeolites donate electrons to free radicals, stabilizing them and preventing further damage.
